My studio is a space that I spend most of my day so it is important to me that it is a place that I can not only feel inspired in but also one that is comfortable and practical.
I am instinctively drawn to a monochrome palette for most things, so from the start I knew I wanted it to be light, bright and airy with striking black contrast and loads of plants – because plants make you happy, right?!

As a mom and owner of the kids decor brand Olly Polly, I wanted to include a space within my office for my daughter to join me after school to do homework and craft. An area that would still look beautiful and compliment my studio space but also be practical enough for her to work in comfortably. This storage desk, ear chair and book ledge ticked all the boxes.

I had the privilege of working with some incredible local designers on this project. If you would like to recreate this look at home here’s where you will find all the beautiful things pictured.
